Not feeling like saying much about anything anymore. I've reached a sort of impasse between what's on my mind, what I consider interesting enough to post here, and other restricting factors. Pops and I went to Raq-N-Waq again this past Friday, Loopy meeting us later. We also managed to imbibe several pitchers of a clear, light brown alcoholic liquid. I seem to recall that the best bit of playing pool was the waitress -- our gameplay was simply awful, a frustrating affair. I also vaguely remember sitting in the parking lot, listening to that young female DJ on CFNY mangle dates and names of 80s bands and songs. Saturday I bought the Master and Commander DVD and watched it with a few friends at QYV's place. I had done this to prevent them from going to see Troy or Shrek 2, both of which I'm trying to avoid. Troy because it looks to be pretty bad. And Shrek 2 because, well, I hate the animation, I hate the look, I hate the storyline. I saw.. hmm... some of the first film.. thankfully very little. I dunno, it's a family film catering to family values -- I have little use for it. Sunday I got around to installing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. When I had originally seen this game played, by Sc0tt.@77i50n, I had dismissed its awkward looking interface.. and the fact that lightsabres are only somewhat more damaging than their traditional counterparts! But after having heard some rave reviews (including Pops spending two days straight playing it), I decided to give it a go. Pretty nice little game. Everything I've tried from BioWare has turned out to be quality, engaging, memorable material. Oh, and GO FLAMES! Woo.
