Feeling much better today, but am quite deprived of sleep. I took these "Day-Time Cold and Flu Liquid Capsules" (which I had assumed treat cold and flus, not give) after dinner and they seemed to help quite a bit. So I ingested some more before going to bed.. and couldn't fall asleep until five in the morning or something disgusting like that. Apparently the non-drowsiness of the pills makes sure you don't feel the least bit sleepy!

May two-four weekend coming up. Plans? No. But that's ok, I have my Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra to keep me busy. Forty gigs of em-pee-three goodness. Scrumdillyicious. The unit is somewhat bigger than what I had envisioned, but I don't have many complaints since it's so cheap.

2010/05/21 Hwan I recall trying earplugs well back in my undergrad years, to mixed results. My sleep was troubled by feelings of claustrophobia. I also have a, perhaps unfounded, fear of not hearing the essential alarm in the mornings. However, I may give these another go, thanks.
2010/05/21 llamatron Have you tried sleeping with earplugs? My flat faces out onto a main road, so I've started using the standard foam plugs. It took a few nights to get used to them, but they make a big difference.
